Best Facial Skin Care Routine

If you have ever looked in the mirror then I bet one of the first things you think is how your face looks, right? The problem with looking in the mirror is that it only hurts your self esteem.

There is a solution to increase your self esteem though, you need to have a facial skin care routine. If you want your face to look beautiful and flawless then you need to maintain it every day until it is exactly the way you want it. Always remember that just because you see someone is a magazine and they have perfect skin doesn't mean they really do, most of the time their skin is altered to look that way.

Here is my 5 step process to have the best looking face possible.

1. Wash daily with a scrub - Washing your face daily and even twice a day is a given, but most people don't use a scrub and that is really hurting their skin tissue. The point of using a salt or sugar scrub is to remove the dead skin off your face to allow better more vibrant skin to surface.

2. Use honey every other day - Almost everyone has heard how using mayonnaise can make your face softer and smoother, but not many people have heard about honey. What honey does is gives your face a cleaner feeling and opens up your pores more so your face will get more oxygen and be healthier. I suggest using honey 2 times per week and mayonnaise once per week for best results.

3. Eat a green salad everyday - The only reason I say to eat a green salad everyday is because the nutrients in the lettuce will give you skin more vitamins and help create better skin tissue. Lettuce also helps with the rest of your body, have you ever noticed when you feel sick your face looks sick as well? The reason that happens is because you central nervous system controls everything you do and feel and if you body as a whole isn't feeling good then your face and everything else will feel bad too.

4. Drink water - Most doctors say to drink 8-10 glasses of water each day, but that is not enough. Most people spend too much time in the direct sunlight and because of this you will need to drink more water to keep your face moist. My suggestion is drink at least 1 glass of water extra for every 20 minutes you are exposed to direct sunlight.

5. Limit your sunlight exposure - This ties into drinking more water. If you are exposed to sunlight too often and for too long it can dry out your skin and also cause skin cancer. Skin cancer is something you need to be aware of because more than 1 million people each year get diagnosed with it.

If you can follow these 5 simple steps then you will be the proud owner of a newly revitalized face in a matter of weeks. The toughest part about getting a healthier and clearer face is learning the steps to take. Now that you have the proper steps it is up to you to use them to get the face you have always wanted.
